Jessica Harding

Sales and design specialist

Jess has a degree in Industrial Design and through this has found her passion for creating memorable experiences for people through design. Jess says "the kitchen is my favourite room in the house, I'm a passionate cook and baker and I'm always trying to come up with new recipes and flavour combos, so kitchen design makes sense as I love creating a space for people to enjoy making food." In her spare time you'll find her in the ocean or exploring new bush walks. With over 200 hours of yoga teacher training, and qualified in reiki you'll find Jess always diving deeper into yoga, meditation and spiritual practices.

Megan Taylor

Sales and design specialist

Megan studied spatial design and loves working with kitchens. She worked in the kitchen industry in London before heading home to New Zealand in 2020. She loves colour and creating spaces that make people happy. In her free time you'll find Megan playing around in 3D software, winning board games or going for a hike. "I love Kitchen Mania because the people are brilliant, both the colleagues and the customers. Every day comes with challenges and rewards."

Laura Arnold

Sales and marketing specialist

Laura is our Sales and Marketing guru!

Technically our longest serving member of staff, she started at Kitchen Mania in her uni holidays when we opened in 2009, before graduating with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Forensic Science in 2011. She worked for ESR in the Crime Scene team for 4 years before starting her family. Three children later she's returned to the family business where she's been looking after our Marketing and communications ever since. Laura's been heavily involved in the re-branding of the business, development of the website, digital marketing and is the friendly, knowledgeable voice you'll hear on the end of the phone when you book your design consultation.

In her spare time she loves getting out and about exploring with her husband Chris and their kiddies Oscar, Ruby and Archie, and fur baby Oakley.

Laura Ellis

Sales and design specialist

Laura is from Cumbria (the beautiful Lake District) in North West England on the boarder of Scotland. She moved to NZ in 2010 and is engaged to her partner Jay. 

Laura has a Bachelor (Hons) of Interior Design degree and Project Management and Small Business. She's worked in graphics, engineering, drafting, merchandise styling and interiors. During her time as a designer Laura has won two TIDA awards for kitchen and bathroom designs, and has been published in Home Decor Magazine and Viva for kitchen design and styling. She loves the team culture at Kitchen Mania and the best part of her job is "taking the client from the first initial meeting right through to a fully completed kitchen."

Weekends for Laura are spent in gumboots doing jobs around her lifestyle block with Jay, and puppy Willow. She loves all things vintage and has a side hustle upcycling furniture. She loves going to gigs and watching all kinds of live music.

Carl Arnold

Carl has been involved in the woodworking industry for 30 years. For many of those years he travelled regularly to Europe to study the latest manufacturing techniques and technology involved with kitchens and furniture. It was this experience and knowledge that helped him set up the very modern, efficient and competitive manufacturing facility that we have achieved at Kitchen Mania.

Cathy Arnold

Cathy is the life and soul of the office and has organisational skills to boot. Cathy is your first point of contact and will assess how best Kitchen Mania can help you into your new kitchen. Cathy comes from a 20 year background in primary school teaching but for many years has looked after the administration and accounts for Carl - they make a great team!

Greg Arnold

Greg is our General Manager. Greg gained his Bachelor of Commerce with Honours in Marketing and Management before jetting off on his OE to the UK. Greg applied his skills by working in the UK for some highly successful Sales and Marketing teams for 10 years. Greg has brought the experience and knowledge he gained back to New Zealand and has been working his magic at Kitchen Mania ever since.

Chris Arnold

Chris is a determined and motivated member of the team - with a great spirit. He is our team motivator both in work and at our corporate events. Chris is a natural sportsman and has competed in both Ironman and world championships triathlon events. Chris applies this hard work and determination here at Kitchen Mania and gets a real buzz out of designing kitchens that his customers love.

Mark Chatfield

Mark has a background in industrial and interior design. He has been in the building industry for over 11 years and is very experienced in working closely with clients to achieve their design dreams. Mark loves the kitchen design process and thrives off finding the right story for a space so that his clients always end up with a kitchen that they really enjoy. In his spare time Mark enjoys travelling, reading and walks on the beach with his wife and teenage daughter.

Anna Mackay

Anna gets a real buzz out of creating practical yet stunning kitchens that her customers enjoy using every day! Anna has always had an interest in interior design and has many years' experience in kitchen design. When Anna grew up, her family was involved in the kitchen manufacturing industry in Christchurch. Anna studied accounting, finance and marketing at university but design is where her real passion lies. Anna classes herself as a "bit of a foodie" and enjoys trying out new recipes! In her spare time Anna loves catching up with friends and family, and getting outside for a walk or a paddle board.

Dominic Hoeft

Dom loves engaging with his clients and working hard to achieve a functional and stylish design that his customers love! Dom has a degree in Property and Arts and has gained valuable experience across a range of building industry, real estate and marketing roles, and has lots of experience in residential renovation. Combined with his passion for design, Dom has found his ideal role here at Kitchen Mania! In his spare time, you'll find Dom on the footy pitch, golf course or kicking a ball around with his kids.

Tracey loves working closely with her clients and making their kitchen dreams come true! Tracey has a Bachelor of Design degree and a extensive background in interior and kitchen design both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom. Tracey loves travelling and spending quality time with her friends and family. Tracey is a busy mum of two and in her spare time you'll find her on the sidelines of kids sports cheering the team on!

Hannah Bowden

Hannah takes pride in designing kitchens that are functional, maximise space and flow beautifully while meeting her clients' budget. Before joining the team at Kitchen Mania, Hannah studied interior design. In her spare time Hannah enjoys spending time with her son and husband, exploring, travelling and wining and dining.

Jacqui Mitchell

Jacqui has a has a degree in Visual Arts and off the success of her own home renovations, decided to study Interior Design. "I’m an all-round arty farty creative type, turning my hand to all manner of craft, sewing, baking, art, gardening projects – instead of buying stuff my first thought is often - I wonder how I can make that?” In her spare time Jacqui likes to get out in the great outdoors, spending time walking in the bush or camping with her husband and young daughter.

Rebekah loves a fast-paced work environment and getting things organised! She is our amazing sales and administration support person and has a background in customer service, sales support and admin. As well as all of this, Rebekah has a keen interest in home renovation and design. Rebekah enjoys reading, painting and watching movies with her two sons.

Sarah loves the creativity that comes with kitchen design. "I really enjoy being creative. Love coming up with the best designs that work with the customer’s needs." Sarah grew up in Japan and lived there for 15 years. She also spent the last 5 years living and working in Japan. Sarah loves being adventurous and exploring the world. "In my spare time I love spending time with my friends outdoors. Going for a hike or to the beach."

Oscar Heen

Oscar has over 8 years experience in architectural design. He loves working closely with his customers and colleagues to achieve a great kitchen design that works perfectly in the home. In his spare time, Oscar loves playing basketball with friends and getting outside to go hiking and enjoy nature. "Working at Kitchen Mania is fantastic because it feels like a real family team. I can use my experience to help our customers get the best result with their kitchen renovation."

Arthur Rosa

Liz is trained in spacial design and interior design. She has worked in the kitchen industry as a kitchen designer and in various supply partner roles for over 20 years. She has always had a passion for design, particularly New Zealand buildings, interiors, furniture and art. Liz believes New Zealand kitchen designers are among some of the best in the world and loves working in the industry because it's always developing, changing and innovative. In her spare time Liz loves to play golf, travel, enjoy the Arts and spending time with her husband and three children. Liz loves the whole team environment at Kitchen Mania. She is proud to work for a company that supplies a great quality product, is innovative and has excellent service.
